Chapter 827: He marched Elissa up to the second floor, kicked the master bedroom door wide open, and flung her onto the bed with a heavy thud. A sinister smirk curled his lips as he loomed over her. "Do you know why I've kept my distance from you all these years?" Though she couldn't see anything, Elissa glared at him, certain she had unraveled the truth long ago.

At first, she had chalked it up to smental hurdle he couldn't clear. Later, it dawned on her-he found her utterly revolting.

“Elissa, I might be tarnished, but you're no angel yourself!" Robin tore his shirt open, reaching for her with greedy hands. "How has it felt to be left hanging all this time? Do you ache for me?" Before Elissa could piece together his twisted meaning, Robin shredded her clothes, exposing her shoulder with the harsh rip of fabric. His hand clamped down on her bare skin.

"You want to bolt? If I touch you, will you stop running? Well, I'll make your wish ctrue!" "No!" Elissa's eyes widened in horror, reflecting the madness in Robin's gaze.

Robin's kiss crashed down on her, and though Elissa sobbed and thrashed, he pinned her arms and legs with brutal strength.

What options did she have? He was her husband, yes, but this was degradation, pure and simple. With a surge of desperation, Elissa wrenched one arm free, groping for the clock on the bedside table, praying it was still within reach.

It was.

She seized it with a death grip and swung it at Robin with every ounce of strength she could muster. Don't miss it: gal"Ah!" Robin yelped, clutching his forehead in agony.

Elissa, shrouded in darkness, had swung wide of her mark. The clock grazed Robin's brow, splitting the skin and drawing a trickle of blood, though the wound was far from grave.

Robin dabbed at the crimson streak, his fury boiling over as he raised a fist toward Elissa.

"You cheap whore, you dare strike me? Didn't I teach you enough of a lesson last time? Blindness isn't enough for you? Want to lose your arms and legs too? Fine, I'll humor you!" As his fist plummeted toward her, Robin grabbed at her pants, tearing at them with savage intent.

"No, stop..." Elissa's body was a map of bruises, her clothes hanging in tatters, and still the onslaught raged on.

Then, out of nowhere, the doorbell chimed.

"Who's that?"

Robin froze, irritation flaring at the untimely onyption

He tried to ignore it, but the bell persisted, relentless, forcing him to m halt. With a snarl, he kicked Elissa aside and Stormed toward the door. He had barely reached the foyer when the door burst open from the outside.

Quentin stormed in at the head of the charge, spotting Robin and barking ap order "Pin him down!"
