Chapter 1666

Startled, | flipped out my phone and saw it was Fred. Only then was I relieved.

"Hello?"

"Did you guys get the letter?"

"Yes." | gradually calmed down.

"I didn't want to disturb you, but Tina heard that a dinosaur thpark was opening in Whaldorf City, so she

insisted on going to look for Munchkin. The two of them made a date to go to the amusement park together."

Fred was a little apologetic on the phone, but | was grateful for this call. It was mainly because of the letter.

"We just received the letter. When are you and Tina coming over?"

"We should be in Whaldorf tomorrow afternoon. We just started packing today."

"Okay, I'll pick you up, then."

"Is that Aunt Wanda?" Tina's childish voice cthrough the receiver.

Fred handed the phone to the child, and Tina sounded very excited. "Aunt, how are you and Munchkin doing? |

heard Munchkin say that you guys went to France. Was France fun?"

She still had the slively and cheerful nature. As soon as she picked up the phone, she could not stop talking.

"Why don't you ask Munchkin that question?" | said while gesturing with my eyes for Munchkin to answer the

phone.

The little one seemed to have overheard my conversation just now, and Munchkin probably knew that the one

who calledwas Fred, so he was standing nearby.

When he heardsay that | wanted him to pick up the phone, the smile on his face bloomed with reckless

abandon.

"Hello, Pumpkin? ...Really? You're coming to Whaldorf to visit us? Great!"

The little one jumped up and down with the phone in his hand.

Tina was coming to Whaldorf City. This was, of course, good news. However, when | opened that letter again, |

was still a little afraid.

| could not imagine what | would be worried about if it were anyone else.

However, after looking at the letter, | started laughing at myself again.

It was such a pink and youthful color. | knew it was probably picked by a child. The words on it must have been

written by Fred.

Tina was only in elementary school, so it was normal that she could not write well.

This was such a normal thing. How did a letter end up scaringto this extent?

At night, | put the letter on Munchkin's bed. | put the little one to bed and sat alone in the living room, waiting for

Theo's return.

At 11 o'clock, Theo walked in through the door. When he saw me, he smiled tiredly. "You really sat here waiting

for me?"

"Yes, just in case you didn't listen toand worked overtime. If you sneaked back and toldthat you had

cback in time, | wouldn't be able to find evidence of your crime."

| took his jacket and stroked his slightly tired face. "Givesmore time. When I'm done developing the

mecha, I'll let the Al do all this for you so that youdon't have to work so hard."

| pulled him toward the bedroom. "Then hurry up and make a robot that can do your work and take your place so

that you don't have to work so hard."

I said, following his tone of voice.

I would not stop Theo from pursuing what he wanted, but | was really not comfortable with him staying up late

every night like this.

"I promise you, I'll be done soon. Go back to your room and rest."

Back in the room, Theo cout of the shower and saw the documents that | had placed on the bedside for him.

"So the cooperation mail was sent here." | glanced at the documents in his hand. "Well, | wonder why it was sent

to the house?"

Theo did not care too much about it. "I guess | put in the wrong address."

He opened the documents and took a look at them.

"Speaking of which, someone sent a letter to Munchkin today."

Theo turned his head to look atwith great curiosity. "Who sent it to him?"

"I was curious at first. When

Munchkin opened the envelope, | realized it was a letter with an adult's handwriting on it. | freaked out, but just

then, Fred's phone call cin. He asked if | had received the letter, so realized it was from him."

| was relieved, but when Theo heard about Fred's phone call, his eyebrows furrowed together again. "What was «

he calling for?"
