Chapter 58 "Judson, are you with Lena now?" cOrlando's voice.
Judson's expression remained unchanged. "No, my wife went home." Nancy was speechless.
Standing at the door, Orlando couldn't help but chuckle in disbelief. "Stop bullshitting, man. I heard Lena talking to you! Lena, I need to talk to you." He knew asking that question was superfluous.
Nancy replied with a faint hum, "Wait for me." As the words fell, Nancy threw back the covers and got out of bed, ignoring Judson's look of silent reproach. Opening the door, Nancy saw Orlando standing outside and said calmly, "Let's talk outside." Orlando immediately nodded, following Nancy's lead without hesitation.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtAs Judson observed Nancy and Orlando walking away, a shadow of cold anger crossed his features. He found Orlando utterly unbearable.
That blonde guy had always tried to drive a wedge between him and Nancy. It seemed getting rid of him would be for the best! Orlando felt a shiver run down his spine, especially when he sensed the intense hostility directed at him. He turned around only to see Judson giving him a cold, emotionless smirk.
Their eyes locked, and Judson's were unmistakably ferocious and dark.
Orlando turned pale, his expression sour as his fingers began to tremble. Even without knowing Judson's background, he got the vibe that he couldn't mess with this man. It was like picking a fight with a predator! Nancy noticed that the entire stuhad returned to its original state, and even the plants revived. He must have put a lot of effort into it.
"Lena?" Orlando asked, noticing Nancy's distraction.
Nancy then turned her attention back, about to speak.
"Babe, have scoffee," Judson said, walking over with a cup.
Nancy paused, looking at Judson's expectant gaze and the immaculately clean studio, and finally accepted the cup to take a sip.
Then she turned to Orlando. "Let's sit and talk." Saying so, she pulled out a chair and sat down, with Judson immediately sticking close by her side as if he wouldn't leave her for a second.
Orlando clenched his fists, visibly annoyed by Judson's silent assertion of territory, but still sat down, suppressing his anger.

Orlando took a deep breath, his expression complex. "Lena, I'm sorry for causing you trouble. I never expected Ann to bother you. I had warned her." Nancy's expression remained calm, understanding the underlying message. "The Harris family stepped in?" Orlando gave a bitter smile and said, "You're too smart to fool, Lena. The Harris family bailed Ann out. They promised to keep her away from Ardenweald for the next two years. If everything goes as planned, she should be boarding a plane right now." "So, you let the person who harassed my wife walk free and expect my wife to forgive you?" Judson scoffed coldly. "Orlando, how can you even say that with a straight face!" Under normal circumstances, Orlando would have retorted back. But this time, Orlando was frustrated. "What could I do? I had Ann locked up, but the Harris family intervened. And that old geezer blackmailed me, saying if I interfered again, they'd target the studio! How was I supposed to react?" The Harris family's influence in Ardenweald was undeniable.
Orlando looked at Nancy with a complex expression. "Lena, I'm sorry. If only the ties with didn't have Global! Then, I believe the Harris family wouldn't dare to be so arrogant!" Nancy pondered. "The Harris family partnering with Evergreen Global is no small feat. It seems this is the only solution to Ann's issue." "Lena..." Orlando seemed even more remorseful.
Nancy, however, shook her head. "No apologies needed. If the Harris family can work with Evergreen Global, so can we let's prepare well for the conference and aim to partner with Evergreen Global." Reluctantly, leveraging power seemed the best form of retaliation at the moment.
Orlando nodded firmly, determination in his eyes. "Don't worry, Lena. No designer in Ardenweald, no, in the whole world, is better than you. Evergreen Global will partner with us sooner or later!" And when that happened, the Harris family would have a taste of their own medicine! Listening to Nancy and Orlando, Judson felt a sense of déjà vu as if he had heard something similar before, and suddenly, he felt a wave of intense pain.
