"It is rented. I couldn't afford to buy such a place. I rented it because it wasn't convenient to stay in that small place after the child was born. Since we hired a nanny, I decided to rent this place temporarily. It has the added bonus of being close to your place," Judie explained.

Denise followed close behind, making thinly veiled comments about how only a son could be relied on. Her remarks were clearly aimed at Eileen.

But she ignored it and said, "Bryan named our daughter. I think you, as the father, should be the one to choose a nfor the baby." Hearing this, Judie sighed with relief.
It had been somewhat dull staying here. If not for Roderick, Eileen wouldn't have bothered to come.
She managed to suppress her mixed feelings and stayed for over half an hour. Then, she received a call and seized the opportunity to head downstairs, ready to leave.
She spoke briefly with Bryan, informing him that she was at Roderick's place. Once she confirmed that Bryan was home, she ended the call decisively and prepared to leave.

Back in the room on the second floor, just after Eileen and Roderick had left, Judie vented her frustration on Denise.
"What did you tell Eileen?" Judie asked.
Denise shook her head vigorously in denial. "I didn't say anything."
Judie rose from the bed and pushed Denise toward the baby. "If you said nothing how did Eileen find out this E apartment was bought?"
"I just mentioned that she wouldn't expect us to live here. I didn't say anything about buying than apartment!" Denise replied, starting to panic.
"Really useless. Eileen is observant. She instantly figured out your schemes. Why did you say so much? If she finds out how we bought this apartment, there will be serious consequences!" In a burst of anger, Judie fiercely scolded Denise.
