Chapter 229
Although Cianna knew Yolanda was highly skilled in medicine, a formula wasn't something that could just be
scribbled down casually.
"Is one formula enough?" Yolanda asked. She was already grabbing paper and a pen and had started to calculate
the right amounts of herbs.
"Well..."
Cianna held back from making a snarky comment only because it was Yolanda that she was talking to.
Her company would take one or two years, if not longer, to develop a mature formula, and even then, there was
no guarantee it could be made into a product to launch. Yolanda sounded so casual that it almost felt like child's
play.

"It's done."
While Cianna was still struggling with how to politely tell Yolanda that it wasn't that simple, Yolanda handed her
the formula.
Cianna didn't know what to say at this point, so she just tucked the formula into her folder and said dismissively,
"I'll look into it when | get back."
Cianna had cto Yolanda hoping for sgood ideas because she always thought Yolanda had a maturity
beyond her years. But now it seemed Yolanda was still naive. Aside from her impressive medical skills, she didn't
understand how the business world worked at all.
Cianna left disappointed with what she considered a useless formula. Yolanda could tell Cianna wasn't
impressed, but she didn't bother explaining anything.
After Cianna left, Yolanda took Sharon on a tour of Willow Creek Clinic. Sharon had been feeling incredibly guilty,
and when she realized Yolanda wasn't mad at her, she was so ashamed she wanted to just disappear on the
spot.
"Don't be upset. This kind of thing is pretty common in the business world," Yolanda comforted her.
"Just remember, unless you're absolutely sure you can trust someone, don't be too quick to believe them.
Alright?"
Sharon sniffled and nodded firmly.
"Alright, go wash your face. When we're done here, I'll take you out for spizza."
"Okay." Sharon forced a small smile and headed to the restroom to wash her face.
She still wasn't sure who she could or couldn't trust, but at least she knew one thing-no matter what happened,
Yolanda was someone she could always rely
on.

After leaving Willow Creek Clinic, Cianna drove back to Cinnamine Pharmaceuticals.
In the boardroom, the R&D team and the company's shareholders were in a heated discussion and debating
various strategies.
But as soon as Cianna walked in, the lively atmosphere evaporated. One by one, the executives lowered their
heads as if afraid she might ask them a question.
"You've been discussing this for a while now. Do you have a solid plan for damage control?" Cianna slammed her
folder down on the table, her voice low and stern.
The room fell completely silent.
"Why is no one talking?"
Seeing everyone with their heads down only made Cianna angrier.
"I pay you higher salaries than any other company, but not so you can sit around doing nothing. If none of you
can cup with a plan that satisfiestoday, you can all start looking for new jobs!"
