Chapter 1163 A Pretty Lady

"Ms. Staber, Mr. Lenoir askedto get these ready for you," Otto said, swiftly handing her a neatly folded set of new clothes from

the side table. "Go on and change; I'll wait outside. Where do you want to go? | can take you there."

Lucy nodded. Only after Otto had left did she pick up the clothes and start to change. Lucy was pleasantly surprised to find that

they fit perfectly, and they were even in her favorite color and style. She wondered how Otto knew so much about her. Upon

second thought, she figured he must have been influenced because Cherise talked about her so often in front of him.

After changing, Lucy had Otto drive her back to the house she shared with Colin. The primary reason was that she hadn't returned

hthe previous night and needed to explain everything to Alexis. Additionally, she remembered that she needed essential

materials related to yesterday's proposal.

What caught Lucy entirely off guard, however, was when she unlocked the door and stepped inside. At the entrance, a pair of

striking red high heels greeted her. They were the latest design from an expensive, high-end brand. They clearly weren't in her size

and bore signs of recent wear by someone other than herself.

The woman's temples twitched. Just one night away, and Colin brought a woman home? The man who always seems so docile

turned out to be so cunning? Lucy scoffed inwardly but resolved not to disturb them. Quickly changing her shoes, she headed

upstairs to look for Alexis.

"Mommy." Lucy's son nestled in her arms and started telling on Colin. "Colin was hugging a pretty lady in the living room last

night!"

Lucy was dumbstruck. "You saw them?"

"Mm-hmm. | did! That pretty lady was tugging at Colin's clothes like she wanted to undress him!"

Lucy remained silent, her thoughts swirling. She didn't mind if Colin fooled around with other women. After all, there were no

romantic ties between them. She had no feelings for him. They were just husband and wife in name. Colin Gray, even if you want

to look for other women, you shouldn't mess around in front of my child!

"Be a good boy, pretend you didn't see anything," Lucy instructed gently.

The little boy nodded vigorously. "Okay, I'll pretend | didn't see Colin hugging the pretty lady in the living room."

Lucy was dumbstruck. The boy's remarks made it clear he couldn't simply pretend not to have seen what he had witnessed. After

dropping Alexis off at kindergarten, Lucy found herself unable to contain her frustration any longer. She stormed up to Colin's door

and kicked it open. e out!"

Colin had a restless night thanks to Mandy, leaving him with dark circles under his eyes. "What's up?" he mumbled groggily as he

was roused.

Lucy glanced around the tidy bedroom. "Where's that woman?"

Colin rubbed his eyes. "Oh, are you looking for her? She's in the guest room downstairs."

Lucy was dumbfounded. She took a deep breath to contain her rising anger. "Colin Gray, we're not actually a couple, and | get that

you have your needs," she began calmly. "What you do outside is your business, but my son lives here. Isn't it a bit inappropriate

to bring someone hlike this?"

Colin, groggy and bewildered, struggled to understand Lucy. He thought she was upset about Mandy staying over. "She said she

wanted to wait for you here. | tried to get her to leave, but she refused. She insisted on waiting for your return. | couldn't chase her

away either..."

Lucy arched an eyebrow. Wow. Is this woman here to challenge me? "Which guest room downstairs is she in?"

"The one at the end."

"Fine!" With that terse response, Lucy marched downstairs, desperate to vent her feelings.

Meanwhile, Mandy happened to be peacefully asleep in the first-floor guest room.
