Chapter 157 Things Stolen, Must Eventually Be Returned Kelvin didn't respond.
"Fine, I want to see for myself, Fiona dying obediently! She took what belonged to me, and now she must pay it all back double!" "And you," Penelope looked at Kelvin, "you should be a thousand times, no, ten thousand times more miserable than me! If only the child were still here, there might have been a chance for... everything to change." Now, there was only hate, only pain. Grudges and feuds, love and hatred, right and wrong... After all, the most innocent victim was the unborn child.
"Why... why toy withlike this," Kelvin muttered to himself, "From the beginning to the end, I was always mistaken." Kelvin turned away, his back to Penelope. At this moment, he couldn't bear to face her. The pain, the anger, the guilt... only he could slowly endure them.
It was his fault, the repercussions of his selfish actions! Penelope couldn't cry anymore. It turned out that when a person was extremely heartbroken, they run out of tears. She numbly stared out the window.
Before long, noises of chaotic footsteps cfrom outside.
"What are you doing... be gentle, let go!" Fiona's cursing voice was heard, "Are you blind, to treatthis way!" "I'll have Mr. Davis fire all of you!" Fiona threatened.

"Mr. Davis, your men are really rough," Fiona complained. "They've got quite the grip, no finesse." She was never one to read the room, but the director, an old fox, immediately spoke up: "Enough, this isn't the tfor such matters! You see Mr. Davis's face... something is off." Fiona looked up, glanced at Kelvin, and then at Penelope whose eyes were red with anger. Thinking they were still quarreling over the medication incident. She felt a bit of glee over their discord.
"Mr. Davis, don't argue with this woman." Fiona walked over to Kelvin and took his hand. "If she won't have a child, I will. I promise I'll be more obedient and sensible than her, willing to listen to everything you say-Ah!" Before she could finish her sentence, Kelvin lifted his hand and grasped her throat fiercely! Fiona looked at him in terror, "Mr. Davis... Mr. Davis..." "That night, in the hotel room, I said something to you," Kelvin stared at her, "do you remember?" "I, I..." Fiona stuttered.
Kelvin bellowed, "Do you remember!" Fiona's eyes darted around, "Not really, Mr. Davis. Things were too complicated then, I was scared." "How could you forget something so important?" Kelvin asked, a look of disdain across his face. "Ha-ha, Mr. Davis, you said a lot, not just one thing... I remember some, forgot others," Fiona tried to make excuses.
Kelvin flung her aside and bent down to grab the old man by the collar. "I'm asking you, the woman the dean sent to your room that night, who was she?" Kelvin asked harshly, pointing at Penelope, "Her?" His hand shifted, pointing to Fiona; "Or her!?" The old man had not expected this issue to resurface.
"Mr. Davis, you've already punishedbefore, I've been keeping to myself, not doing anything bad..." the old man stammered, "This has nothing to do with me, I really don't know anything..." "Tell me, the woman the director brought to your room, who was she?" The old man hesitated, about to point someone out.

Seeing this, the director realized the gravity of the situation. He quickly pushed Fiona and shouted, "It was her! The woman you wanted was her! My daughter Fiona, I sent her to you with a heavy heart... Have you forgotten?" Fiona also caught on, nodding repeatedly, "Yeah, yeah, you can't be getting old and mixing people up, right?" Father and daughter sensed the looming danger.
How on earth did Mr. Davis suddenly start accusing them? They couldn't let Mr. Davis find out it was Penelope that night... Otherwise, everything they had worked for, everything they owned, would be gone in an instant. And all would be for nothing! The old man was taken aback.
Kelvin gripped his collar even tighter, "Who are you supposed to listen to, do you have any idea?" His gaze was piercing, and the old man, wary of Kelvin's status, nodded, "Of course... Mr. Davis, I listen to you, naturally, your word is my command!" "Then tell me, is it her or her!" Kelvin repeated.
Fiona tried to say something, but with a look from Kelvin, the bodyguard understood immediately and moved forward to silence her.
Penelope watched all this with a detached gaze. For her, all this was expected. She had met the old man before; he would surely recognize her.
You can't fake the truth, nor can you truthfully fake.
"That night... the woman the director brought... was... was her," the old man pointed to Penelope, "I remember clearly, it's not wrong. She even gavea vicious kick, almost crippled me..." As soon as Kelvin released his grip, the old man fell to the ground, then quickly knelt upright again.
"Mr. Davis, everything I said is true, not a single lie," the old man responded. "As for the director and his daughter's affair, I know nothing, and I wasn't involved!" He rushed to distance himself from the matter. But Kelvin wasn't going to let him off the hook! "Kicked you? That's getting off light," Kelvin's eyes flickered dangerously, "Where did you touch her?"

Kelvin snorted coldly, "But you looked. Your eyes, you don't need them any longer." The man turned pale and begged for mercy, "Mr. Davis, Mr. Davis..." "Take him away!" Kelvin commanded.
"Yes, Mr. Davis," his men responded, dutifully.
The old man's screams echoed above the grounds of King Manor. The director and Fiona turned pale with fear. Their worst nightmare was unfolding! "Mr. Davis, I, I, I..." Fiona stammered, "Don't listen to that old liar... It wasthat night, it couldn't be mistaken!" Kelvin stared at her coldly, making her scalp tingle.
"Dad," Fiona was terrified, "what do we do..." With a kick, Kelvin sent the coffee table flipping over, the sound of it crashing and breaking items filled the room, the noise was deafening.
His eyes seemed ravenous with anger, "Still lying when death is at your doorstep?" Fiona was speechless. The director was stunned as well. It was all over.
Then, Penelope slowly stood up and walked over to them.
"What's stolen must eventually be returned..." she said, "Fiona, you took my place and enjoyed, enjoyed months af glory and wealth, which for you is probably worth a lifetime." Gone was Fiona's usual arrogance. Defeated and disheveled, like a cock that had lost a fight.
Penelope mocked her with laughter, "I endured the danger and lost my innocence for you r you. And you? Reivin cherished you above all else, offering stars and withholding moons. You've picked up such a huge bargain... all thanks to your father, the director."
