She didn't suspect Dylan, assuming instead that something had happened to Elliot or Diana.
"Send more people," she instructed Allen.
"Boss, don't stress yourself. Have you seen how pale you look? You should get srest. I've got this covered."
Suzy shot back, "It's because you're handling it that I'm worried."
The moment the words left her mouth, she regretted them. "That's not what | meant. I'm just afraid something's
happened to him."
Allen wasn't upset in the slightest. "Boss, | understand how you feel. Honestly, I'm just as worried. It's my fault
for not keeping a better eye on him and letting him sneak out."
Along with worry, Allen carried a deep sense of guilt.
Last tat the hospital, Elliot went missing because of his carelessness.
Even though Elliot deliberately sent him away this time, Allen still felt responsible.

"Do you think they're actually afraid of you? Suzy, sometimes you really overestimate yourself. Still, Elliot isn't
withthis time. The reason I'm calling isn't entirely about him."
The woman paused, letting the silence linger before continuing.
"| wanted to tell you... Diana misses you. Wouldn't you like to csee her?"
"What gare you playing this time?" Suzy asked sharply, already suspecting the woman was using Diana as
bait to lure her in.
"Now, is that any way to talk?" The woman's voice was dripping with smugness. "Your sister-in-law misses you
and askedto give you a call.
"How could | refuse her request? I'm just being helpful. I've delivered the message—whether you cto see
her is up to you."
With that, the line went dead.
Allen, who overheard the conversation, immediately stepped forward. "Boss, you shouldn't go. Lethandle
this!"
"No," Suzy replied firmly. "Even if | don't go, you're not going either!"
She couldn't let Allen take the risk in her place. "You focus on finding Elliot. I'll go myself."
"Boss, you know it's a trap! Why walk into it willingly?" Allen tried to stop her. "Because | can't gamble with
Diana's life!" Suzy said, her voice resolute.

Suzy's eyes darted between the women.
All of them were eerily still, their eyes closed as if they were sleeping. It was impossible to distinguish the real
Diana from the imposters, and the situation left her no clues.
