"You're not her. If you were Diana, you'd know | never eat candy!" Dylan wheeled himself forward, his sharp eyes
locked on her.
"Who are you?"
"lI am Diana," she replied with a cold smirk.
"You just can't accept that your sister could change so suddenly. That's why
you're convinced I'm not her. But unfortunately for you, I am."
She pointed at the candy Dylan had spit onto the floor. "Brother, wasn't the candy | gave you delicious?"
The moment the words left her mouth, Dylan felt an unsettling discomfort in his throat. "What did you make me
eat?"
Diana let out a laugh as if the question amused her. "Candy, of course. What else could it be? Though this
particular candy was crafted specifically for you."
Despite her insistence that she was Diana, Dylan refused to believe her.
His sister would never do something like this.
He quickly pressed the intebutton. "Someone..."

She didn't release him until Dylan's face turned even paler. Finally, she stood and adjusted her bag. "Goodbye,
Brother."
By the tshe walked out, Dylan was in a terrible state. He had no idea what she had made him ingest, only
that he felt unbearably sick.
His body burned as if it were on fire.
He tried to call Suzy, but his hands wouldn't move.
The only part of his body he could control was his eyes. Everything else was completely paralyzed.
He thought back to how he had struggled to break free from her grip earlier. Even with her strength, it shouldn't
have been impossible to push her away.
But now he understood-whatever she gave him had sapped him of all his strength. Even with his legs already
compromised, this was far worse.
The agony intensified as his body beccompletely unresponsive.
Dylan clenched his teeth and bit his lip, hoping the pain would bring him senergy.
But it was futile. He didn't even feel the blood that trickled from his lips.
He should have listened to Suzy and refused to see anyone.
But she was his sister-the kind, thoughtful sister he had always known.
How could she suddenly turn into someone like that?
Dylan couldn't accept that the person just now was Diana.
It had to be someone disguised as her. Yes, that was it!
Someone used her appearance to get close enough to poison him.
That had to be the explanation because his sister would never do such a thing.
When Suzy arrived at the hospital, Timothy had just been sedated by the doctors.

Leaving Dylan alone didn't sit well with Suzy.
If he weren't unable to stand on his own, she might not be as worried But with his limited mobility, he was
vulnerable and the person behind all this clearly wanted him dead
The thought sent a chill through her.
And then, a realization struck her like lightning.
"It's a diversion!"
