Seeing Dylan's awkward expression, Suzy couldn't help but smirk inwardly. Noticing Riley wasn't around, she
quickly asked, "Where's Riley?"
At the mention of her, Allen's face darkened. "Don't even bring it up. Last night, after you toldRiley was
pregnant, | went to find her. We barely exchanged a few words before she flipped out onand said the baby
isn't even mine."
Victor, who had been silently listening, couldn't hold back and chimed in. "Allen, no offense, but with your
attitude and tone, I'd have said the sthing if | were her.
“She's carrying your child, and instead of softening your approach, you act all high and mighty, like she should
feel honored to be pregnant with your baby.
"That's not how women work. If you want her to be warm and sweet with you, you need to be more thoughtful.
Say the things she wants to hear, agree with her, and show her sgenuine affection. You've got to win her
over, man!"

like you're sexpert on women. You can't even handle your own relationships, so what gives you the right to

Victor looked genuinely offended. "What do you mean | can't handle my own
relationships? Every woman I've ever been with has lefthappy. Even after breakups, none of them badmouth
me.
"Take my first girlfriend, for example. We broke up nearly ten years ago, and just the other day, she called me,
asking if we could get back together."
Allen opened his mouth, a sly grin forming. "What about Nadia..."
Before Allen could finish, Suzy's sharp voice cut through the air. “Enough! It's getting late. Go bring Riley her
breakfast now!"
Allen shot Victor one last knowing glance before heading to the door.
Victor wasn't about to let it go and took a step forward. "Wait a second. What was that look? And what were you
about to say just now? Speak up!"
Allen paused and turned back with a smirk. "I'm just saying, if you're as smooth as you claim, maybe you
wouldn't have any... unresolved issues with Nadia."
Victor's face tightened. "For the record, Nadia isn't my woman. Sure, she's lived with my family since she was
young, but that doesn't mean | have to treat her like she's mine."
"Victor, enough already," Suzy interjected, stepping between them. "What's the deal? You've been throwing jabs
at Allen all morning, and now you can't handle it when he claps back? Seriously, what's your problem?"

Victor's gaze flickered between Suzy and Allen, his instincts telling him there was more to this exchange than
met the eye. Her sudden intervention felt oddly deliberate as if she didn't want him to dig deeper into the topic.
Waiting until Allen left, Victor made up an excuse to slip away.
Catching up to Allen halfway down the hall, he blocked his path. "Allen, are you hiding something from me?"
"What could I possibly be hiding from you?" Allen retorted, frustrated. If Suzy hadn't stepped in earlier, he
might've blurted it out right then and there.
"Move, | need to get breakfast to Riley!"
Victor crossed his arms, his sharp eyes narrowing. "Don't play dumb with me. | saw the looks you and Suzy were
